A3 e-tron: Those windmill-shaped wheels anticipate this is an ecologic Audi. A3’s brand new generation goes hybrid with a plug-in system, using an electric engine of 101 hp paired to the widely known TFSI 1.4L, which produces 150 hp. There won’t be changes on the car’s other aspects, leaving the attractive style as preserved as the S-Tronic dual-clutch semi-automatic gearbox. This car can run in hybrid mode, getting a combined power of 204 hp, as well as all-gasoline, to reach 7s6 0-60 mph and 138-mph top speed, or 100% electric, limiting the speed to 81 mph and reaching 31 miles without recharging.
A3 g-tron: Why stop being ecological only with electricity? This variation can carry 30 pounds of natural gas divided into two tanks, each one with three protective layers for more protection and to avoid leakages, not to mention an electronic regulator to maintain the internal pressure between 5 and 9 bar, lowering when more economy is wanted and increasing it when more power is demanded. Such technology helps the TFSI 1.4L to achieve 110 hp, a 11s time from 0 to 60 mph and a 118-mph top speed. There will be a 248-mile autonomy only with gas, which goes to 559 paired to gasoline.
RS Q3: Whether if you wanted a tougher RS3 or to have SQ5’s 40% sports car/60% crossover ratio inverted, Audi doesn’t care for how specific your wishes are. The RS style package’s discretion still makes it hard to notice when the car is moving, but the baby crossover received it all, including the lower ride height. Under the hood there are five cylinders to offer the 2.5L’s 305 hp and take it from 0 to 60 mph in 5s5 and to the limited 155 mph. Expected to arrive in Europe next October, it’ll use quattro Audi Drive Select systems, paired to 19” wheels, start/stop system and a top-notch luxury package.
S3 Sportback: If the new A3 has already received both the family and the sporty versions, it was silly to expect Audi would resist to create one more vehicle, specially when it required nothing but mixing those variations. In other words, this car only adds two more doors to S3’s sportiness, bringing the turbocharged TFSI 2.0L with direct injection and 300 hp, enough power for a five-second 0-60 mph and limited 155-mph top speed. Also following the two-door, there will be S-Tronic transmission, quattro traction, one-inch lower ride height and the option of having the 13.4” brake calipers in red.

Citroën
C3 2013: Just like the Picasso minivan, Citroën’s hatchback took inspiration from the Brazilian version to its half-life facelift for Europe. The new front bumper added an imponent upper grille and redesigned the lower one, giving the car LED daytime lights and a pleasant refreshed look, while the rear design became more elegant with the new chrome details. The interior, however, received the biggest improvements: C3 now uses a discreet version of DS3’s console, along with new coatings and higher overall quality. There will be diesel engines, but the gasoline units will all use three cylinders.

500 GQ: Does anyone still keep count of how many special editions this car has received? The cute Italian hatchback was now associated to the famous masculine magazine with, obviously, a male-dedicated package. In other words, this 500 is based on the sporty 500S and brings exclusive dark-gray metallic painting, 16” alloy wheels and some exclusive styling items, such as white decals and GQ logos. Expected to arrive at the European market in June, this special version wasn’t priced yet, but the engine list will have the 84-hp TwinAir 0.9L, 68-hp 1.2L, 100-hp 1.4L and one diesel engine, the 94-hp Multijet 1.3L.
500L: The stylish minivan is being so well-accepted in Europe that it already received the North-American variation, and now enlarges the engine options for the homeland’s market. If the turbocharged 16-valve MultiAir 1.4L’s 160 hp are too much for you, Fiat now offers not one 103-hp option but two, with the same exact power: the TwinAir 0.9L enables 0-100 km/h in 12s3 and 112-mph top speed with 47 mpg while the turbocharged diesel 1.6L, with more than twice the other’s torque, changes those numbers to 11s3, 112.4 mph and 52.2 mpg. Both powertrain options will arrive next March.
500L Trekking: This is Fiat’s answer for those who would like an off-road inspired vehicle but still have to worry about the family too much to forget the upcoming 500X. Since the overseas sibling arrived in the US with this new variation, it was only a matter of time for the European to catch up. This 500L proves it much more than a more attractive look, though: there will be the 160-hp MultiAir 1.4L with manual or double-clutch semi-automatic gearbox, Uconnect infotainment system, the really cool optional Lavazza coffee kit and Traction+, which transfers more power to the most slippery wheel.

That engine will make use of the Flex Steer system, which enables the driver to choose between three driving modes, Normal, Comfort and Sport.
Jeep
Grand Cherokee: The small facelift first showed in the last Detroit Motor Show is now being extended to the European version of the s-size SUV, with minor changes that don’t disturb the elegant overall impression caused by Jeep’s current most famous vehicle. The clean and imponent external design wraps a very classy cabin, which received even better materials, new multifunctional steering wheel, better sound system and an improved infotainment central, with more functions. Nothing that changes the fact of this being an excellent rival for some versions of the Land Rover Range Rover.
